Dr. Darisa Espinal

Dr. Darisa Espinal is a licensed naturopathic physician in the State of CT. Dr. Espinal earned her doctorate in Naturopathic Medicine from the University of Bridgeport, and her master’s in human nutrition. She attended the University of Harford and received her bachelor of science in biology. She is also trained in functional medicine by the Institute of Functional Medicine, the gold standard.

Dr. Espinal specializes in women’s and men’s health, urology, cardiometabolic and endocrine diseases, diabetes, autoimmune conditions, inflammatory/pain management, and thyroid health. Given her unique clinical background, Dr. Espinal has extensive knowledge in interpreting functional lab tests such as stool analysis, hormone panels, and endocrine and cardiac markers, to name a few. Dr. Espinal is also fluent in Spanish and welcomes the Latino community.

In her downtime, Dr. Espinal enjoys spending time with her toddler, traveling, exploring, and spending quality time with family.
