Dr. Martin Opoku Gyamfi

Medical Doctor, Naturopathic Physician,

Dr. Opoku is a Medical Doctor, and Naturopathic Doctor. He received his Doctor of Medicine degree from River Plate Adventist University School of Medicine in Argentina, and his Doctor Of Naturopathic Medicine degree from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, in Toronto Canada, making him uniquely qualified as an integrative medicine practitioner.

When not working or giving a talk, Dr. Opoku enjoys spending quality time with his wife and three small children, as well as getting his weekly spiritual renewal in church. Dr Opoku speaks six languages and he likes to exercise his language skills through traveling. He also enjoys running, hiking, soccer, researching and having a good chat with friends.

Specialty

In addition to general integrative medicine, Dr. Opoku has special interest in Gastro Intestinal disorders, (such as GERD, IBS, Crohns, ulcerative colitis), Cardiovascular diseases (such as hypertension, heart disease and high cholesterol), Mental health (Anxiety, depression, stress, sleep and other mood disorders), Diabetes Management and reversal, and drug free pain management.

Approach

With clinical and research experience from Argentina, Canada, Mexico and USA, his philosophy of health is that; disease does not just happen, and good health comes by choice not by chance.

Unique Framework

Dr. Opoku sees his patients as partners and works with them using evidence based nutritional and natural, as well as other integrative approaches to prevent, arrest and reverse ill health by seeking and treating the root cause as much as possible. He is a big believer in wellness education and he has lectured on University campuses, and to various groups and congregations in different states here at home, as well as in Mexico, Argentina and Canada. He also gives regular health talks which are broadcast across North America and Europe as well as participating in medical missions in six countries, on four continents.
